None of the PFP images seen here should be considered endorsements of the CrayonDAOO or its affiliates under any circumstances. We use the artwork for design and entertainment purposes to break up the monotony of large blocks of text.

The Degen Trash Lore Collection was originally minted by CrayHans and deejfit. We'll be looking to collaborate with more artists in other collections to expand the lore across multiple communities.

Up to now

This collection started as a spontaneous collaboration between CrayHans and deejfit. When I met deejfit he was already creating these pieces for various members in the community but he wasn't minting them. I fell in love with his style as I hadn't seen AI render these PFPs so well before I quickly stepped in to help him put together a strategy.

Because the goal was to create free content for the Degen Trash Panda and Degenerate Ape Academy to gain followers and engagement we weren't charging people for the artwork. Instead, we respect every OG asset holder's IP rights, make plenty of public posts, and gift the 1/1 to them personally.

We only list NFTs that we create from digital assets that we personally own at the time of creation. We did that for a total of 100 pieces in 1 month.

Moving forward

Beyond me having fallen in love with these images and wanting to see some crazy story unfold, there is an real opportunity here for a classically trained artist to explore the gap in value between AI and human art. These are a few questions I want to answer with this project:

How do you value AI Art?

What if the AI Art was altered by a human digitally?

What if the AI Art was recreated physically?

What if after that it was painted with oil paint on wood?
